Hi, my name is Snook.

I am the founder of Poda. I started my own brand to move away from the high profit, fast selling nature of the current fashion industry. I am using my leadership experience in the apparel industry to shape this brand according to my own passion and I am proud of what this brand can do for everyday lifestyle and long lasting outreach. As a small business owner, I'm fortunate to be supported by friends and family to pursue this new venture. Thank you for dropping by, and I hope you like what we have to offer.

The name of the brand, Poda, comes from the island in Krabi, a southern province in Thailand. The island was the place I visited first after returning to Thailand from having lived abroad. I was initially hesitant to make the move back, but the scenery of the cliffs and the experience from the trip reminded me of many amazing reasons to be excited for this next chapter in my home country.

I am a passionate sustainability specialist whose career goal is to accelerate sustainability transition in Asia. I recently co-founded Reviv, an online provider of clothing repairement and alteration services. Our mission is to fabricate the culture of sustainable fashion in Thailand by making apparel reuse more common and fashionable and supporting the labor market for the slow fashion businesses. I believe that we need an economy that is regenerative and distributive by design to ensure that the lives of every individual, including other species, benefit from the development.

HELP REDUCE FOOD WASTE

We're proud to partner with Scholars of Sustenance (SOS), Thailand's first food rescue foundation, to help reduce food waste and fight hunger in Thailand. Every T-shirt sold donates an equivalent of one meal to the food rescue kitchen program.

SOS now operates in Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai and works with leading grocery store chains, hotels, and restaurants to ensure that no food needlessly goes to waste. Left over grocery is taken by SOS and distributed to needed households and communities, so they can be consumed. The food rescue kitchen program makes fresh ready to eat meals for these communities.
