Poda is a climbing apparel brand, proudly made in Bangkok. Inspired by the places we climb and the friends we climb with, we create meaningful designs that tell our community’s story — while supporting climbing development, so we can keep doing what we love, together.
Hi, my name is Snook.
My name is Snook, and I’m the founder of Poda.
The name comes from Koh Poda, a small island in Krabi — one of Thailand’s most iconic climbing destinations. It was the first place I visited after moving back to Thailand, following ten years in the U.S. I was hesitant at first, unsure of what this next chapter would bring. But that trip reminded me of all the reasons to be excited about coming home — the beauty of the landscape, the strength of the community, and the sense of belonging.
Through Poda, I hope to give back to the climbing community by creating meaningful apparel that celebrates the places we love, the achievements of the people around us, and the passion that brings us together. It’s also a way for me to support the ongoing development of climbing in Thailand — so we can continue to grow, explore, and climb together.
