Chris's Journey that Inspired The Just Run T-Shirt
Just A Run. For 50 days.
Last year, Chirs ran from Mae Sai to Betong — from the northernmost point of Thailand to the southern border — purely as a personal challenge.
No support team. No race. Just him, his shoes, and nothing more than a small pack on an open road for 50 days. Chris ran the entire length of the country — over 2,100 km. Chris loves exploring Thailand, and as a passionate runner, this felt like the best way to see more of the country. It wasn’t just the once-in-a-lifetime achievement — it was the kindness of strangers and the stories he collected along the way that made it unforgettable.
Design Inspired By The Journey
After the run, Chris's friend Noah Francis, a UK based artist, sketched the shoes Chris wore on that journey. Worn down, beat up, and full of stories — that drawing became the heart of this collaboration.
He did a rough sketch whilst drinking a cold beer, on the river Kwai in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, and developed this into the line piece we see on the shirt. The minimalist illustration reflects both the simplicity of the run and the story behind it.
